  [Alsophila spinulosa]

  About 180 million years ago, Alsophila spinulosa was once the most prosperous plant on earth. Like dinosaurs, it was one of the two major symbols of the “age of reptile”.   [Tetrastigma planicaule]

  It is a perennial plant named “Biandanteng” in Chinese due to its shape. In the past, Yi people went hunting in the mountains without carrying a kettle.   [Duabanga grandiflora]

The King of Duabanga Grandiflora in Moli has a diameter at breast height up to 6m, and it is the largest breast height tree in the area, so it is called “the King of Duabanga Grandiflora”.

  Rhaphidophora megaphylla is a unique species in China, which is attached to the large trees in the humid tropical jungle or on the limestone cliffs and has been listed as a national protected wild plant of Class II. As a vine that can only be seen from a distance, Rhaphidophora megaphylla can climb up to more than 30m in height. Its stout stems are in cylinder shape and the aerial root is fleshy in cylinder shape, the petiole is green and almost cylindrical. The flowering period is from April to August every year.

 

  [Pterospermum menglunense]

  The tree of Pterospermum menglunense is a unique plant in China and it is a unique tree species in tropical limestone mountain rainforest of China. The tree leaves and flowers of Pterospermum menglunense have medicinal value and can be used for stasis scattering and bleeding stop and tonifying. They are mainly used for curing trauma and bruises. However, the bark is poisonous since it contains chloroform extract and methanol extract which may cause death.
