Buddha Footstep

Buddha Footstep

Footprints of Buddha: Moli is encircled with mountains on three sides with a golden Dai-style pagoda pavilion. There is a hoarding stone in the pavilion. On its cliff inclining to the ground a huge “footprint” is embedded with the toes and sole clearly visible. That is the Footprints of Buddha well known in the Buddhism circle of South Asia and Southeast Asia. The footprint is 96cm long, the forefoot is 43cm wide, the instep is 33cm wide and the heel is 52cm wide. A Buddhist temple is built behind the pagoda pavilion. Pilgrims come here in an endless stream on Buddhist festivals.
