Detailed Description

In Dai ethnic villages, almost every household has a magnificent Zang House. The "Zang House" is a temple used for worshiping Buddha and is a typical Dai-style building. The Zang House in Moli is a stilted building, richly decorated with colorful ornaments, similar to the temples seen in Thailand and much like those in Southeast Asia. Inside the Zang House, there is a golden-bronze seated Buddha statue, and in front of the door stand two white elephants, attracting countless devotees from all directions.
