Detailed Description
Moli is also known as "Zhado." It is said that Buddha once fasted and bathed by the hot springs here, leaving behind a large footprint. To commemorate Buddha's visit, later generations called this place "Zhado," the Pali word for the large Buddha footprint. Moli Waterfall, also called Zhado Waterfall, is hidden deep in the tropical rainforest between Guangnong Mountain and Guangma Mountain. The spring water cascades down a 60-meter-high cliff, creating a scene described as "water layers like cotton, flowers scatter without bows or arrows." Moli Waterfall is the waterfall with the greatest drop in Dehong and even in southwestern Yunnan.
