Moli Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area is located 20 kilometers northeast of Ruili City, Yunnan Province, covering a total area of 7 square kilometers. In August 2020, it was rated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The forest coverage rate of the scenic area exceeds 96%, recording 1,540 species of wild plants and 479 species of flowering spices, including more than ten nationally protected species. The core attractions include the 50-meter-high Zhaduo Waterfall, the Buddha's Footprint religious relic, and the tropical rainforest ecosystem entwined with vines, forming a composite tourism experience of "natural landscape + religious sanctuary." In February 2020, a policy of free admission for medical workers and public security police nationwide was implemented for the entire year, effective from the reopening of the scenic area after the pandemic until December 31, 2020.

　　The scenic area is located within the Ruili River National Scenic Area. The Moli River runs through the entire region, forming a canyon landform. The annual average temperature is 20.7°C, with humidity maintained above 80%. Rare vegetation such as millennial ancient ferns and ten-thousand-year-old petrified wood are distributed here. Existing plant communities include large-leaf banyan and strangler fig with aerial roots. The intertwined rattan vines form a three-dimensional layered ecological landscape. The peak concentration of negative oxygen ions in the air reaches 180,000 per cubic centimeter, characteristic of a typical tropical rainforest climate.

　　Zhaduo Waterfall, as the core attraction, cascades down a 50-meter cliff, creating the spectacular "waterfall like cotton" phenomenon. A hot spring emerges below the waterfall, forming a deep pool where seasonal rainbows can be seen in winter. The Buddha's Footprint relic is 96 centimeters long and is recorded in Dai scriptures as left by Shakyamuni during his practice. Surrounding it are golden Dai-style pagodas and a large Buddha temple. The river valley area features geological wonders such as tree-wrapped stones and plant fossils. Along the hiking trail, wild animals like green peacocks can be seen.
