Tropical Rainforest

　　This is a natural forest oxygen bar in China with the highest concentration of negative oxygen ions. Perhaps due to the divine power of "Zhado," the original tropical rainforest ecosystem here has been well preserved. Walking into Mori, thousands of tropical and subtropical plants form a canopy that blocks the sky. You can regard the huge century-old ancient vines as "hammocks," the ruthless "strangler figs" as "tropical cold-blooded killers," and the millennia-old ancient ferns and fossilized ancient trees as thick textbooks of time.

　　Mori Waterfall

　　After traveling for a long time in the sunless rainforest, you faintly hear the sound of falling water. Following the sound to the end of the canyon, the noise grows as loud as thunder, and your view suddenly opens up to see the sky again and a huge waterfall pouring down from a 60-meter-high cliff. "The cascading water is like cotton, scattering naturally without the need for bows or arrows." This is the Mori Waterfall.

　　Zhado Waterfall

　　It is hidden between the lush mountains of Guangnong Mountain and Guangma Mountain, where towering trees stand facing each other. The waterfall cascades down a 40-meter-high cliff like a giant white silk ribbon. From a distance, you can hear its thunderous roar, truly magnificent. If you follow the river upstream and stand on the giant rocks in front of the waterfall to view the scene, you will see snow-like sprays and clouds surging on the cliff walls, resembling white ribbons, light gauze, and misty rain. The deep pool below the cliff is stirred by waves like a giant bird striking the water, with terrifying waves like thousands of bright pearls sinking into a jade sea. It truly presents the scene of "cascading water like cotton, scattering naturally without bows or arrows." On sunny, clear mornings when the smoke and fog dissipate, a long rainbow appears. This is an emerging tourist area awaiting development.

　　Buddha's Footprint

　　"Zhado" in the Mori Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area is a Dai language place name meaning Buddha's Footprint. It is located west of the third farm of Mocheng Farm in Ruili City, about two li upstream along the Momo River from the "320" line. This place is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a nearly ten-acre flat land covered by dense forest and five ancient large green trees with intertwined roots. Under an ancient banyan tree stands a Dai-style pavilion containing a stone slab with a giant left footprint embedded on its slanted rock wall, with clear toes and sole. The footprint is 96 cm long, 43 cm wide at the forefoot, 33 cm wide at the arch, and 52 cm wide at the heel. Devotees apply gold powder to it, making it even more vivid. Candlelight flickers on the rock, and incense smoke curls around. During Buddhist festivals, pilgrims come in endless streams.

　　Chi Hot Spring

　　About 40 meters southeast of Buddha's Footprint is Chi Hot Spring, with water accumulating to a foot deep, moderate temperature, and crystal clear. It is said to be the marsh pool built by wild elephants for the Buddha. About 60 meters southwest of Buddha's Footprint are the ruins of three ancient pagodas, said to have been built by the King of Luchuan, now only three piles of broken weathered red bricks remain. Additionally, about two li northeast of Buddha's Footprint on the hillside of Jiaolin Mountain, there is a cave that can accommodate more than a hundred people. Legend has it that the Buddha once practiced cultivation here.

　　Dramatic Scenery

　　Besides the magnificent waterfalls, the Zhado River basin also features subtropical rainforests, hot springs, Buddha's Footprint, clear streams, strange rocks, blooming flowers, and rare birds, forming a world that resembles a fairy tale. Due to the steep and deep riverbed terrain, rugged rocks, winding twists, and clear, rapid water that sometimes surges with white waves and sometimes looks like a group of giant beasts scrambling among the rocks, many dramatic and dangerous landscapes are formed. It truly gives the feeling of "nine bends and ten turns leading to secluded places," making people happy and carefree.
